Is Grunge dead?

Grunge ? anyone

It's funny how all music that was considered "grunge" back in the early nineties, now is only considered to be "alternative".

I read in Rolling Stone Magazine..."Grunge is dead, a band cannot call themselves "grunge" anymore unless they have some type of Seattle roots"

Hmm. I'm not too sure, whats your opinion on this?

I could not disagree more. I also disagree that there is such thing as post-grunge. Bush was the best grunge band, no matter how much they sound like nirvana. Also, Pearl Jam sucks live!
