The Music:
R.E.M. is an alternative band that was formed in the late ´70 (using the name "Twisted Kites"). The band began in Macon, Georgia where highschool buds Mike Mills and Bill Berry decided, after playing as bassists and drummers in so many bands, that they would form a band of thier own. Shortly after leaving Macon they met up with their vocalist, Micheal Stipe.

The rest is History. R.E.M is one of the greatest bands of the nineties and still ruling in the new millineum. R.E.M. drummer (Bill Berry) is no longer with the band. He left the band in October 1997.
